I began studying massage in 2001 at IPSB in San Diego. Since graduating in 2004 I've worked on people from all walks of life, from professional and Olympic athletes, to weekend warriors, to great-grandmothers. One commonality among all the people that I've worked on as a professional is the simple desire to maintain an active lifestyle. My job is to support my clients in this endeavor. I do so by bringing awareness, both verbally and through touch, not just to the areas that my clients complain of, but also to those areas of tension that they don't even feel in their everyday lfe. "I didn't know that I was sore there" is a common refrain of those that I work with. This newfound awareness allows my clients to examine the way they use their bodies in everyday life and break their patterns of movement that may be leading them to have chronic pain and discomfort. In short, our massage colaboration allows my clients to be empowered to live a healthier, happier life!
"I highly recommend Bart Gale's work for everyone from elite athletes to those who are new to massage. His style is very comprehensive and takes a look at the musculature working together as a whole. Not only does he have great hands, but he responds well to any feedback given, which is something I value in therapists." "Thanks again for taking care of me - my legs felt great on Sunday morning. I wound up winning the event and set a new state record, as well. It made all the difference! I just wish you were local, here in Arizona. Take Care, Robin O'Rorke (Cyclist in on Sat nite)"
